Systems for Clarity
Hello, my friend and future millionaire.
In the last few emails we’ve covered a lot of information, computed many numbers and created several lists, and I’ve probably lost some of you will need to go back and review, but for those of you who have followed along, I know what you’re thinking.
You’re thinking “Don, why are we going through all this?”
Well, I’m going to let you in on the big secret and that big secret is this.
What all those facts, numbers and lists have done, and you haven’t realized it yet, is they have made a crystal clear picture of what you want your business to look like, how much you’re going to make per sale, how much of your time you’re going to have tied up per sale and what you need to do on a daily basis to start buying your life back.
By doing all those lists, tracking all those numbers, and deciding exactly where you stand now and where you would like to be, it allows you to turn off the business without fear of losing your course.
You give the business a parking place for times you want to do something with friends or family, and you can be okay with it because you have outlined your roadmap,
This is important because, what happened to me, I was building all these businesses and things were going well but I didn’t realize I was working ALL the time, work was always on my mind and there wasn’t anything else going on in my life.
This is what I focused on; This is how I built the million dollar roadmap.
So I needed to come up with a system that made things crystal clear for me, so that when I wanted to go to a car show with my dad, I could give my business a parking place and let my team handle stuff and walk away from everything and enjoy the day.
Now I’ll be the first one to tell you, I don’t sit in front of the TV because I’m usually in front of my computer taking training to learn new things.
There’s a lot of things the average person does that I just don’t do because I am focused on staying sharp to be able to coach you guys on the next step.
But I want you to realize that there has to be a time for everybody where you walk away from work to relax or enjoy life in other ways.
All the information provided in the last couple episodes, and all the steps we went through making the picture crystal clear for you, allows you to have a date night to forget about business for a spell.
It also allows you to be able to take your family on a weekend trip and not worry about what’s going on with your business.
I had to work to get into that position by learning the hard way so I encourage you to take this advice and to have somebody on your team that you turn things over to while you step away.
Because if you don’t get to the point where you give your business a parking place, your life is going to fly by and you won’t even realize it, and you’re going to miss out on a lot of things that were extremely important to you because you became overly focused on building your million dollar roadmap.
Although a lot of the questions we explored and the plans we made were a hard thing to do, you now understand why I had you do it.
Because now that you have all that information in front of you, it’s a numbers game; You can look at it and know exactly what you need to do on a daily basis.
If you’re not hitting the goals that you want to hit, you know exactly what needs to happen to step up, to make the kind of money you’re looking for.
