Like Campaign

Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel. 

My name is Kris Hutchinson. 

Today we’re going to go over a little bit more of an advanced subject.

We’re going to be talking about a like campaign on Facebook. 

If you’ve never run Facebook ads before I don’t know how much you’re going to get out of this.

Keep reading and some of these things will follow. 

It will come in line a little bit later.

So a like campaign on Facebook, what is that like is when anybody clicks that thumbs up button on your post or on your page that we want them to like your page?

Because when I am looking at a product or a service and I go to your Facebook page, the first thing I’m going to do is see how many other people like your product.

And if I get there and it’s only 50 other people, well, I know that’s your mom and your dad and they’re best friends and your cousins and your uncles, and that’s about it, right?

Why am I going to trust you with my money? 

What we want to do is get that number up there so that you have thousands of likes, because I don’t know who you are, but most people don’t have thousands of people in their immediate network.

So what that does is say, okay, these people have done business with thousands of people and they’ve helped them and they’ve given them some kind of value. 

And so they’re going back and they like the page. 

So that’s the whole purpose of a light campaign.

Now, how do we do that? 

When we set up our Facebook ad, one of the options is to get page likes for your conversion.

So I select that, and then we want to do this as cheap as possible. 

Now, when we do it like that, we’re going to be targeting people who are not necessarily going to be our customers.

The main group that we’re going to look at is going to be under eighteen, right? 

When you’re setting your age limit on your ad, you want to make sure you set it to 13 and up, and you might want to knock off the 65+ age group and just stop it at 64.

Now we’ve got 13 to 64 as an age range.

We also want to start looking at different locations and we want to be targeting tier three countries.

You can find a list of tier three countries online, or if you contact me, I can definitely give you a list as well.

However, most of your tier three countries are going to be located in Asia and Africa so you can exclude a few of those.

Some of the bigger markets than the tier two markets that are there.

So we’ve got the age and we’ve got the location so the next thing you’re going to need is some kind of a creative and simple inspirational image.

And along with that, put a quote on top of it and the quote should be in alignment with whatever niche you’re in, whether it’s health, wealth, or relationships.

And if you can’t find any quotes, all you need to do is Google it, and it could be relationship, inspirational quotes.

And I guarantee you within the first two things that come up on Google and you’ll have a list of the top five or top 20, anything like that.

So just pick one that you think looks good and add that over top of an image, put that in the text as well and let it go out.

So now that way, when people see it, they click that thumbs up button to give you the like on the post and they might even like the page with it.

So when we do that, we can actually get down to like a penny per like, which is what we have ended up paying.

I think our last time we went through, we got it down to like 1.70 cents for every page. Like, and that was just for people who actually clicked on the ad.

Now, what you can do afterwards is inside of Facebook, you’ll get a notification saying that so-and-so liked your post. 

You should invite them to like your page.

And that’s an important step because now we’re talking about free likes. 

They’ve already seen the posts and they’ve clicked the like button.

You’ve got their name there inside of Facebook already. 

All you need to do is just one extra step on your end is to click the invite button.

And now you’ll actually send them a notification saying that, “Hey, your Facebook page invited this person to like the page.”

And then from there, they can either accept or deny, but that one little step, just that little bit of action from you is going to be a free conversion ad is going to be another free like, and they usually convert a word from 10 to 20% off of that.

So that’s how to do a penny like campaign.
