Idea to Income #8

Hello, my friend and future millionaire.

Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel.

My name is Don Shade.

In the last episode, I covered writing down your ideas and kind of getting things out of your head, so to speak.

We want it where other people can take a look at it and basically make sure it makes sense, because what happens is this: after you’ve been in the frame for so long, you can’t see the picture.

I want to move on to the next step.

What I want to cover with you today is this: what if you’re putting your course together and you get to the point where you feel stuck?

‘What do I do?’

‘How do I get by this?’

If you’re putting your course together and you’re going through the information and you get to a point that you’re not sure of, or you feel stuck, what I would do, I would stop for that section.

Then take a look at the next section.

I wouldn’t dwell on being stuck on that point for more than 20 or 30 minutes.

Maybe if you walk away from what you’re doing and it doesn’t come to you (how to put that part of your course together), let’s move on to a different part that you do know about, because what you’re going to find out here is this: as you’re building your course, you’re going to have a couple of different sections.

When I’m putting courses together, I’m really good at putting certain parts together.

It comes to me real fast.

I know it like the back of your hand, so to speak.

And then there’s other parts that I’ve got to do some research on and make sure that I’m a hundred percent right, and I’m telling people exactly what to do.

That’s going to benefit them the most moving forward.

A lot of times after I handle the part that I know, and there’s some stuff that I’m unsure of, I’ll  have my team step in and help me to put the rest of that together.

But in the meantime, so I don’t hold up progress, I’m working on another section of the course.

And this way, it kind of compacts the amount of time that it takes you to get your course in writing so that you’re able to maybe create a book or create videos or however it is that you’re going to market your course.

That’s something we need to look at and we’ll do that in future episodes.

But the main thing I want you to realize: if there’s one area that starts to be a hangup, learn to step over it and keep moving on with what you know, so we can get your course at least three quarters of the way put together.

You’re going to feel a lot different about it than if you just have one section and you’re stuck, and you don’t know what to do.

Then it’s time to reach out and get some help.

But in the meantime, while you’re waiting for that help and looking for those answers, keep rolling forward with what you do know, because it’ll make a world of difference in how fast you can get your course to the market.

This is just something to make you think.

That’s everything I have for today’s episode of The Money Wheel.
