Disclaimer

Hello, my friend and future millionaire.

Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel.

My name is Don Shade.

In this episode, I’m going to cover a couple of things pretty quick.

I mentioned yesterday that I would give you an example of putting together your outline and turning it into a table of contents and getting your course moving forward.

Once you have your outline together, here’s what I challenge you to do: Do some research in your niche about the kind of product that you’re going to be selling.

Maybe find somebody else that has a product in this field and look it over.

Maybe even pull your credit card out and make the purchase.

Why?: Because we want to see how they put their course together.

You could check things over like: How they did their outline, to make sure that you’re on track.

I don’t want you to copy off of them, but there’s nothing wrong with modeling your course after somebody else, especially if you like the way it’s laid out.

Because maybe they have more experiences than you.

Maybe they’ve created a lot of courses where you’re doing your first one, and you’re not exactly sure how to handle everything.

If you look at somebody else’s, it’ll tell you exactly, ‘okay, I need to lay this out like this’.

‘I need to do this or do that’.

Or, ‘this is how they put together their course so it makes sense to the customer’.

One thing I want to cover here real quick, you’re going to need a disclaimer in any of your material, and you can get a disclaimer anywhere.

Basically, what it’s going to say is: ‘this material is for information purposes only’, and it doesn’t hold you responsible for anything.

Disclaimers are pretty general and easy to find.

You’re going to want to have that as the first page in your training or in your book, whatever the situation may be.

So far, you can see how we are putting this together to make it work.

We have your outline, which turns into your table of contents.

Then we’ve done some research and we’ve looked at a couple other people’s courses and figured out exactly how we’re going to lay ours out, to tighten up our outline, to make our table of contents look the way it’s supposed to, and the way we’re going to do our video series or our audio training.

And now we’re looking at, ‘okay, the first page in my book is going to be a disclaimer that says: this is just for information to help you’.

It isn’t anything that you can be responsible for, so to speak.

You’ve got to learn everything on your own and take care of your own legal matters.

Once you read this disclaimer, you’ll start to see what I’m talking about in the wording.

All you have to do is take some of their words out and put your words in as far as the name of your company and such, and basically any disclaimer will work for you.

We want to make sure that it’s in your materials.

So as you can see here, what we’re building is: we’re putting the pages together of what your ebook or your hardback book is going to look like; your actual course.

Remember how I asked, ‘are you going to have audio, or are you going to have video?’.

‘Is this going to be digital?’

‘Is this going to be a hardback book?’

‘Is it going to be workbooks?’

And the answer was: ‘yes’.

All the stuff we’re going over here is helping you to set up and be able to sell your product in all of those forms.

We don’t want to leave any money laying on the table, so to speak.

As we walk through this and the couple of episodes, you can see how things go hand in hand, and how the pages of your book are coming together.

This is stuff for you to think about.

And I challenge you to do some research and look at other people’s courses, see what you like and what you don’t like, and put yours together the way it makes you happy.

At the end of the day, when you’re finished with this whole course, you want to be able to look at your product and be satisfied with it.

So that’s everything I have for today’s episode of The Money Wheel.
