Business While on Vacay

Hello, my friend and future millionaire.

Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel.

My name is Don Shade.

Now we talked about in the last episode, going into phase two and what that’s going to look like, and what we’re going to get into here is how to manage your team and keep things moving forward.

One of the things I want to cover with you here today, and I want you to start thinking about it so that you’re comfortable with this as we move forward.

What happens whenever you want to walk away from things for a weekend or a week’s vacation?

Maybe you don’t have your team in place where they can just run everything and you step away and it’s a fine tuned machine that keeps running.

Maybe you’re still trying to build that but what I want you to realize is everybody needs their time, where they step back, and if you have a family vacation planned and this, that, or the other thing, whatever it is a weekend that two or three day trip, sometime just out of the blue to get away from everything, be okay with that.

It used to be one of the big struggles that I had when I would plan a trip and go somewhere.

And I would find out that as I was there, I was thinking more about my business than I did whenever I was home and able to work on my business.

I wasn’t satisfied with where I was financially and I wasn’t satisfied with the way my business was going.

I felt like I wasn’t doing enough and I shouldn’t have been on that vacation.

The problem is this, even though I did do enough and I was on that vacation, I spent my time at home doing other stuff and not really doing what I needed to do.

And that’s why I felt so bad about actually being on vacation and enjoying myself.

And it didn’t allow me to give my business a parking place, so to speak and let me enjoy family time or whatever was going on.

I want to make sure you don’t fall into the same trap, do what you need to do before you go on vacation so you can step back and forget you’re in business for a couple of days.

Enjoy your life, enjoy your family.

Do the things you want to do.

Enjoy a couple of nice days on the beach or skiing or whatever it is you’re into.

Don’t let yourself fall into the trap of, I know I’m here on vacation, but I should be back home working on my business because it’s no fun being there.

And the vacation doesn’t really help you.

You’re still burnt out whenever you get back, because you spent all that time thinking about stuff you wanted to do when you did return.

That’s everything I have for today’s episode of The Money Wheel.
