High Social Media Traffic

Hello, my friend and future millionaire.

Welcome to this episode of The Money Wheel.

My name is Kris Hutchinson.

So about a week and a half ago we were talking about ‘presenting yourself on social media’.

I wanted to touch a little bit more on that again this week.

So right now you’re starting to put your message out there and it’s time for you to start developing content on a regular basis.

I know on social media, you can post a few short sentences or maybe, a funny picture of things like that, or just some inspirational quotes to help your audience with your brand awareness.

However, you really need to start giving out some kind of good, valuable information.

And there’s a couple of different ways that you can do that online.

If you like to write, then you can start writing a blog and that’s where you just write an article.

And I would try to do as many articles as you can, but the point is to be consistent and to keep it ongoing.

And now you can publish your blog to your own website.

But let’s face it, if nobody knows that you’re here, you’re not going to get a whole ton of traffic.

So what you need to do is find a marketplace for blog articles.

And there’s one that we like and it’s called Medium.

So you can go there, and it’s a place where people can submit your blog articles.

They get it published.

The site itself already gets a ton of traffic.

And it’s kind of like how YouTube is for videos.

That’s what Medium is for blog articles.

Now, other ways you can get your message out are: you can do a podcast or you can even shoot video.

And that’s what we’re doing here.

We shoot our podcasts on video, and then we can upload that to YouTube, to Facebook, wherever we need to, we can take the audio out and use that as our podcast.

And we can get that sent out through all kinds of different podcasts, mediums, whether it’s Google podcasts, iTunes, or Stitcher.

And all these services are free.

You just set up your account and you can upload your episodes.

You do require a podcast service.

I believe the one we’re using is called Simple Cast.

It’s just a few dollars a month, but then it takes care of organizing your episodes, your episode art, and it disseminates that throughout all the different podcasts networks and then video.

You can shoot your video and upload it to YouTube.

You could host it on your own website, but again, you have that issue with traffic, but video is also good at putting out on social media.

So you have a lot of great options here.

And one of the smart things that we tell people to do is record it once and use it over and over again, kind of like how we’re doing.

We do video. We take the audio out. Now that’s a podcast.

Now we can take that podcast or the audio of it and have that transcribed.

And now you have the written word that you can then transform into a blog or an email.

You can take quotes out of it, and post that onto your social media.

So you really develop the content once and then you can use it all over the place.

So that’s everything I’ve got for this episode of The Money Wheel
